Motorcycle Driving Course A1

Theory
The course provides all the theoretical preparation you require for the test. It includes online lessons as well as eas theory study material which you can work on independently. If you're unable to pass the theory test by the date stated in your training schedule We will not be able to book any DVSA test for you as a resit. In this case, you will be required to pay the appropriate fee for resit at the time of booking.
Practical
Motorcycle driving courses also include practical classes. These are the main parts of your learning experience. They can be spread over several days or even longer, based on your needs. You'll need your own bike for this portion of the course. It is essential to pick a motorcycle that is easy for you to control, not too fast or heavy. Start with a 50cc scooter or moped.
The practical test is the next step after you have completed your theory training. The practical test is divided into Module 1 and Module 2. The first part of Module 1 is an hour long road ride. The second section is an individual riding section lasting 10 minutes. You will have to pass both sections in order to get your license.
You should practice basic motorcycle maneuvers, including the figure 8 slalom and emergency stop, to prepare for your motorcycle test in module two. These skills will help you to know what the examiner will be looking for. It is also important to ensure that your bike is in great condition and that you are wearing an entire set of gear, including helmet, gloves, and jacket. The motorbike driving certification is valid for a maximum of two years. If you fail the test within the time frame, you'll have to take the theory class again.
Module 5 is required if you want to change to a different vehicle category. This is the progression part of the course. The Assessment
You must have completed the initial Basic Training (IBT) before you can begin your training for your A1 motorcycle license. The eight-hour course will teach you the skills necessary for safe riding. It is part of the RSA's Graduated Driver Licensing Scheme and assists in improving road safety. Once you've passed the IBT, your instructor provides feedback and will suggest whether you are ready to move on to the next phase of training.

After having passed the module 1 and 2 tests, you are able to take a motorcycle with a maximum power of 35kW. This is the first step towards a full A-license, and it will allow you to ride either manual or automatic motorbikes or scooters.
It's important to remember that your A1 licence will only be valid for two years. After two years, you'll have upgrade to an A2 license that gives you more freedom to drive.
A1 courses include both practical and theory classes. The amount of practical training depends on how much you've had experience on a bike and the number of classes offered will differ from school to school. Make sure you sign up for the A1 course as soon as you can so that you can book both your practical and theoretical tests at the same time. You'll also need to have the appropriate equipment, such as gloves and a helmet. If you don't have all the necessary equipment certain driving schools offer a loaner service.
Licensing
The first step towards a motorcycle licence is the Compulsory Basic Training (CBT). If you pass it this test, you can legally ride and a bike that has a maximum power of 35 kW. This can be anything from a moped to small scooters.
CBT is a mix of theory and practical training. It teaches you to comprehend and follow the rules and regulations you must follow when driving. The course is 12 hours long, and is divided into three modules of each four hours. Before you can take your driving test for category A1, you must pass all three modules. You must be 18 years of age to take this course.

The practical course is split into three sections, each lasting four hours. After you've completed your theoretical and practical lessons, you're now able to take your driving test to obtain the category A1 license. This test consists of several riding maneuvers on a motorcycle taught by the instructor. You must also demonstrate that you can control the motorcycle under different conditions and in all types of weather conditions.
In order to pass the test you must be able to complete a minimum of five training hours on Federal or country roads, and another four hours of training in a daytime or dawn. You must also complete the required number of special rides. The instructor will inform you when you are ready for the test and give you tips to pass it.
